The TIC Masjid has been operating from a rented facility for the past 13 years and for the last few years, we have been struggling to keep our doors open.

So last year we decided to make this building we’re currently operating from our permanent home, and by the will of Allah we were able to enter into an interest free purchase contract with the landlord.

The conditions stipulated that we make a down payment of $3 million by the end of 2023.

As we were nearing the deadline of December 29, 2023, we still had $100,000 that we needed to raise.

We were scurrying, calling on all of our past supporters, reaching out to friends, family, community leaders – anyone who could give us even a little support in our time of need as we were just hours away from losing everything that our community had built over the years – all of the experiences, memories, and Dawah work.

Allah reminded us this is His House and He will protect it.

And lo and behold, 847 people came through in our time of need and helped us raise $101,480 within 48 hours!

That’s the power of this Ummah.

And Alhamdulillah we were able to successfully make that payment and secure the contract to purchase the building! Allahu Akbar!!

To date, we have helped raise more than $10 million to support many projects and initiatives, both local and global. This includes building masajid, supporting education programs and Islamic centres, and assisting in relief efforts to help provide relief to thousands of families surviving through crises across the world.
